So I watch Nigella show the world how to make yummy food fast. Have you watched her show? She makes cooking so sexually charged, this one does. Always alluding to all sorts of things that you generally don’t even want to think about when watching cookery shows.

(I must mention, here, that I will watch pretty much any food show there is. I blame it on Yan, who told us all that if he can cook, we can too! I wonder what he does now. I miss his show…)

I forgot what I was going on about. Tchai. The age catches up with me, and all that.

Oh yeah. Cooking. I like to think that I can cook, and in my defence, I have never made anything that I’ve had to throw away/ throw up. Ecxept for Maggi Dal Atta Noodles. But those, the grossness is the company’s fault, not mine.

I like making up recipes as I go along, and am currently trying to master the (apparently quite simple) art of jam-making. So, if anyone has any tips, pass them along!

So, my loverly dad got me a spankin’ new laptop, and as a working internet connection is pretty much all I have to mess around with until the brother decides to get his act together and actually get some like, other stuff running on this cute little toy (it’s SO pink!) I thought I’d start up a new blog! Whew… long sentence that.

Yeah. A blog has always been like, number 7 on my list of things to do – not right at the bottom, but far enough down that it never really gets done. I’m currently running on the assumption that actually CREATING the darn thing was the hurdle I needed to… hurdle (?) across.

So, yay! I’m excited! Now, to think up things to blog about…
